Great look, but New vendor please!
"It kills me to give this ball only 2 stars because, honestly, it was such a huge hit with my daughter and her soccer team! My daughter is a travel soccer player and a longtime lover of Sun Bum, so when she spotted this ball while we were on vacation, she nearly fell over in the store. It was truly a match made in heaven. We excitedly inflated it, and she brought it to practice. Unfortunately, they didn’t even make it through warm-ups before the ball had lost most of its air. We did a water test and discovered it was leaking in three different places. We reached out to Sun Bum, and I have to say, your customer service was fantastic. You immediately sent us a replacement, and we really appreciated that! BUT… we were absolutely horrified to discover that the replacement leaks too. 🤦♀️ My husband is now trying to use a sealing agent to keep the air in. It’s such a shame because all the girls on her team absolutely gushed over this ball! Everyone loved the look, and it was definitely a conversation starter at practice. Unfortunately, a soccer ball that constantly loses air is just not practical. Having to refill it before every practice is a huge pain, especially for a competitive/travel soccer player who actually uses it regularly. Sun Bum, you nailed the design and the fun factor, and your customer service is wonderful — but PLEASE find a new vendor/manufacturer for these balls! This could easily be a 5-star product if the quality matched the appearance. We really wanted to love it, and unfortunately, we just can’t recommend it in its current form."
