Water Resistant (40 minutes), Cruelty Free, Gluten Free, Hawaii Act 104 Compliant: Made without Oxybenzone & Octinoxate

Active Ingredients: Homosalate 15%, Octocrylene 7%, Octisalate 5%, Avobenzone 3%

Inactive Ingredients: alcohol denat (67%), isoamyl cocoate, fragrance, hamamelis virginiana (witch hazel) bar/leaf extract, tocopherol

The Good Stuff

Witch Hazel: a smooth, versatile plant known for its anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties. 

Shake well before use. Spray container liberally into palm and apply evenly to face and neck 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating and immediately after towel drying.

  • Helps prevent sunburn
  • If used as directed with other sun protection measures (see Directions), decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun

Warnings

  • For external use only.
  • Flammable: do not use near heat, flame, or while smoking
  • Do not use on damaged or broken skin.
  • When using this product keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove.
  • Stop use and ask a doctor if rash occurs.
  • Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Directions

  • Shake well before use.
  • Hold container 4 to 6 inches from the skin to apply.
  • Spray liberally and spread evenly by hand 15 minutes before sun exposure.
  • Do not spray directly into face.
  • Spray on hands then apply to face.
  • Do not apply in windy conditions.
  • Use in well-ventilated area.
  • Reapply:
    • after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating
    • immediately after towel drying
    • at least every 2 hours
    • children under 6 months of age: ask a doctor
  • Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including:
    • limit time in the sun, especially from10 a.m.-2 p.m.
    • wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses

Don’t underestimate cloudy days. 90% of UV rays still find their way through clouds, which means even if it’s not a beautiful sunny day, you can still get fried.

We know it’s tough but try to limit sun exposure when the sun’s rays are most intense (10am to 4pm).

Reflections off water and snow can increase sun exposure by up to 50%. Keep that in mind when you’re surfing or on the slopes.

Keep newborns out of direct sunlight and always cover them with shade. Check with your pediatrician before applying sunscreen to children under 6 months.

Our Original Face Mist has an SPF count of 45 and is enriched with Witch Hazel. Our Daily Face Mist has an SPF of 30 and is enriched with Banana, Brown Algae and Vitamin E. Both are great for everyday, on-the-go protection.

We like to recommend spraying into palms first then patting into face to avoid the inhalation of the SPF spray through the nose, mouth, or eyes.

Try to avoid applying on or near the eyes. Spray into palms and then pat gently into skin, avoiding the eye area.

Some of our products (made with compressed air or containing alcohol) are regulated as hazardous materials (i.e. “Hazmat”) when shipping. You don’t need to worry about what’s inside the products—those are made with good stuff.
