Finders Keepers is our way of stoking out our community, just because.
We’re always on the lookout for locations that offer some local flavor with plenty of foot traffic. This time around, we had our eyes set on the idyllic bridge at Basta Rock, just above La Grande Plage and right in the heart of Biarritz, France. Why? Have you seen this spot? What’s more iconic than a cobble stone bridge overlooking a yellow sandy beach with a perfect longboard wave stretching up to the north with views of Sainte-Eugénie Cathedral to the South? Exactly.
We hung up all the towels on the bridge to get the shot, but we’re pretty sure the language barrier prevented most of the locals from understanding that the towels were actually free. So, we decided to take matters into our own hands by heading into town to hand out towels to everyone we passed. Kobe even managed to barter a towel for a kiss on the cheek. When in France.
